FARCANA - Common Problems

• Site doesn't return me in launcher after login
  • Try to add our site to exeptions in your antivirus program.
• This site can’t provide a secure connection
  • We are aware of this issue affecting users, it is likely due to your distance from the server which is located in Germany. The devs are working hard to resolve this and strengthen the server. We appreciate your patience.
• Game has to be run as administrator or it won't open at all
  • Reinstall launcher from our site and try again. Run the game WITHOUT administrator rights.
• The game does not start or crashes, what should I do?
  • Reinstall the game and restart your device. Try changing the graphics settings down, make sure your internet connection is stable. If this does not help, please contact our support team and describe the problem in detail in the description.
• Assertion failed! Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Expression: gpu_count > 0
  • Download and install this: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
  • Uninstall launcher via system install/remove
  • Delete the folder C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\FarcanaLauncher
  • Reinstall using the latest installer from the site.
  • Launch the game
• Vulkan.dll was not found.
  • Update your graphics drivers
  • Install vulkan runtime (https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home).
  • Uninstall the game, delete all Farcana files from your Program Files and reinstall through the website
  • Ensure your Windows is up-to-date
• Launcher crash with error about VCRUNTIME140_1.dll
  • Please install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. You can download it here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

• The launcher won't start. One of the possible problems is the presence of a graphics accelerator built into the CPU

  • Need unable to launch Vulkan apps/game on desktop/notebooks with iGPUs. ****Please follow the link below, follow the steps in the instructions, and then restart the launcher: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5182/

• During installation of the launcher, an error occurs while installing additional software Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable

  • If during installation you encounter an error like this, you just need to press the "close" key and the installation will continue without further errors
